Hi! I’m Adrian Bol, Creator of The Action! Method.

I work at the intersection of filmmaking, execution, and professional decision-making.

After years of developing, writing, directing, and producing films — and collaborating closely with producers, actors, cinematographers, and other key creatives — I became focused on a simple but uncomfortable question:

Why do some projects move forward — while most don’t?

Talent, ambition, and passion are rarely the deciding factors. What separates finished films from unfinished ideas is clarity, preparation, and the ability to execute in a way professionals trust.

That realization shaped everything that followed.

From Films to Method: As a filmmaker and producer, I’ve worked across features, shorts, and international productions, collaborating with award-winning producers and recognized actors, and filming in multiple countries.

My work includes writing, directing, and producing the feature film Legacy of Lies, starring Scott Adkins. The film achieved worldwide distribution, reached #2 on Netflix US and #4 on Netflix UK, and was recognized among the Top 10 spy thrillers on Netflix of all time.

I’ve also been involved in developing and adapting narrative projects for the screen, including The Man from Rome, based on the novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.

Across these experiences, one pattern kept repeating:
projects succeed not because of inspiration — but because of execution.

I created The Action! Method to break down how films are actually made — from idea to script, from planning to set, and from collaboration to completion.

The Action! Method is not a theory, a motivation framework, or a creative ideology. It is a practical system built around how decisions are made in the real film industry — and what professionals need to see before they commit their time, trust, and talent.

The goal is simple: to help filmmakers move from ideas to finished work, and to understand the professional reality behind that process.

Alongside this work, I host The Action! Method Podcast, where I have conversations with working producers, actors, cinematographers, and other industry professionals about how projects get accepted, how trust is built, and why most films never get made.

These conversations are not interviews about success — they are practical discussions about decision-making, collaboration, and execution.

Focus: My work is centered on filmmakers who want to stop postponing and start finishing — and who are willing to engage with the reality of how the industry actually works.

No shortcuts.
No mythology.
Just the process.
